Hi. I am an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of East Anglia (UEA). I am an economist interested in how incentives and institutions shape individual and public decision-making, as well as knowledge production and diffusion. More broadly, I am interested in topics in Political Economy, Applied Microeconomics, and the Economics of Science.
More concretely, my current work examines the roots, drivers, and consequences of populism and radicalization; the well-being implications of AI adoption; questions regarding the empirical methodology used in applied economics; and the extent to which personal networks shape scientific production and diffusion.
